Lynnette is one of those beautiful souls who humbles your heart and radiates inspiration.
One of the most inspiring woman I've met, she, along with her husband and 3 children carry such strength and creativity. If you ask Lynnette about the projects she creates and takes on, she will tell you "that it's for fun", and when you look at the movement and the beauty in each of her ideas, each of her design pieces, the idea of fun is very apparent coupled with gorgeous layers and a spectacular vision.
A landscape Architect by certification Lynnette's designs move the viewer past their own stand point and allows them to see something differently, allows them to stop and feel inspiration flow where they may have not otherwise.
Lynnette is a Toronto Junction Triangle dweller who's roots began in Winnipeg. The Junction Triangle community is fortunate that this talent resides where she does. This GLOW installation documented here is just the beginning of what Lynnette's visions are for her community. She has plans for 2018 that will help to re-create a different way of seeing. This week you can be a part of the TORONTO DESIGN OFFSITE festival and view Lynnette's installation at the GASLIGHT located on Bloor Street in between Lansdowne and Dundas West subway stops.
If you have a moment during an evening stroll and/or date night, stop by the GASLIGHT and let Lynnette's installation move you.
I am excited, this is only the beginning of my journey with this lovely designer. I look forward to documenting more about Lynnette's fun ideas coming into life; coming out of something abstract into view.
