Welcoming New Life Right from the Start...(GRAPHIC)

I was welcomed into the operating room this past March. My first c-section birth.

I was nervous. I wanted to be sure I captured everything for this family.

Watching them sign the papers before admittance.

Seeing them prepare to meet their new family member.

Hearing them laugh about the predicted weight and sex.

I felt nothing but honoured. Not only was I hired by this family because they love my work, but they told me that my presence calmed them.

I am lucky to call this family my brother and sister. The baby I watched be delivered was my nephew Easton.
